About CMID

Creative Mobilization Initiative for Development

Nigeria is a big estate

Think of Nigeria as a massive estate. The blueprints are drawn up in Abuja: roads, loans, tool grants. But the engineers at headquarters cannot mix the cement alone. They need a disciplined ground crew to fetch the blocks and hold the line.

CMID is that crew. We explain government programmes and public services in plain language, so that market women, young people, farmers and rural communities know what exists and how to reach it.

What we do

We explain. We turn national programmes into plain language, so you know what exists and how to apply.
We connect. Members join their state and ward group, so communities can organise and share what they learn.
We report back. Through our contact form, citizens can tell us how public projects are working in their area.
